When I tried to revert to the previous image which worked, and that suddenly
did not work,I strongly started to suspect my own stupidity: apparently, the
subdirectory structure *MUST*start with platform/, and then everything goes
underneath. I did not look at the code, but itlooked like the code was
expecting to find the files under platform/ directory, so when it didn't,it
hung.
Trouble is, it did not emit any kind of telemetry, either.
Latest platform image is working now, however I still get e-mails every hour
from cron(1) and
logadm(1M)regarding non-existent root/ directories:
logadm: Warning: /zones/34f48d40-b12d-4d8d-847e-991be886db2c/root/tmp/vm.log:
No such file or directory
logadm: Warning: /zones/7ab84ce0-e0e4-4337-91e7-d7418b9ed1a8/root/tmp/vm.log:
No such file or directory
logadm: Warning: /zones/7ab84ce0-e0e4-4337-91e7-d7418b9ed1a8/root/tmp/vm.log.0:
No such file or directory
logadm: Warning: /zones/3012ffed-81a8-4f66-ad59-41c928e484bd/root/tmp/vm.log:
No such file or directory
logadm: Warning: /zones/5396f087-5b39-444a-962b-6d0a6b359fe3/root/tmp/vm.log:
No such file or directory
These come every hour. It looks like I have sinned in some way, but what
exactly my sin was, I am not sure.
