I just landed the first phase of the oft talked about CTF Everywhere project. This part rewrites the ctf tools that we know and love to be implemented in terms of libctf, to allow us to better leverage it in terms of other parts of the system. The new CTF tools should work fine with the build, but they're not enabled by default yet. I'd like to get a bit more usage of them before we make them the default. If you'd like to help in this regard, please do the following: - Make sure your illumos workspace is clobbered - Make sure everything is up to date (gmake update) - Make sure everything is clean (gmake clean) - Add the following to your illumos.sh file which sets in $SMARTOS_LIVE_ROOT/projects/illumos/illumos.sh: ENABLE_NEW_CTF=""; export ENABLE_NEW_CTF I'll actually be simpler to just create a fresh workspace and run ./configure and before you run gmake world or gmake live, to add that line to the generated illumos.sh.
