I definitely wouldn't want to manage traditional Ethernet bridges for this. Most folks want Etherstubs because they're a simple private L2 interface. If folks are looking for a way to get a DC-wide private network like an Etherstub provides, but is instead spread across multiple hosts and private to a customer, I'd look to the fabrics feature instead.
