Is it required that software contributed to pkgsrc be portable between the unix systems (NetBSD, etc), or can some of it Illumos-only? I'm not sure what the policy is, especially since pkgsrc advertises itself as portable pkg-mgr.
The reason I ask is that in the future I will make a stable release of one of my software projects, and would like to add it to pkgsrc, but it currently runs only on Illumos.
