All, I am trying to setup a VM with netatalk (from pkgsrc) as a print server for my old, trusty LaserWriter 16/600 using the AppleTalk/EtherTalk DDP protocol. From what I read it seems like a "ddp" driver has to be loaded to enable that protocol family. From what I could see that driver is not part of the pkgsrc build although DDP seems to be enabled.
I'd appreciate if someone could provide directions on what needs to be done to get my SmartOS zone talk to that old printer...
