It looks like the install script from the Meteor JS website only supports Linux and OS X, but there seems to be a (third-party?) thing that lists SmartOS (SunOS) support: https://github.com/arunoda/meteor-up#multiple-os-support You may also want to try running the Linux build of Meteor inside an LX-branded zone. -- Joshua M.
