Hi,

For what it's worth, the bss=0x0 is a grub comment, if grub's not
loading the system it's a bit hard to know what's going on, particularly
with a mac mini and the rather particular firmware it has.

I'm not sure the procedure that you suggested is quite correct. The
driver usually gets loaded by default. So you'd want to make sure you
did a rem_drv and then an add_drv after copying it into place. In
addition, the procedure won't cause some other files to be updated which
would cause us to associate the driver with newer device IDs.

However, I'm not sure we have support for the 57765, to verify whether
or not that's the case, can you share it's PCI ID? You can obtain that
by running prtconf -d.
