fso-gpsd requires a minimal disk space:
=====
debian-gta02:~# apt-get install fso-gpsd
[...]
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  fso-gpsd
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 17.8kB of archives.
After this operation, 102kB of additional disk space will be used.
[...]
Starting fso-gpsd: fso-gpsd.
debian-gta02:~#
=====

Thus, I decided to install it by default [1]: the advantages are bigger
than the disadvantages, giving how many applications use the gpsd
interface, and since it does not pull in any new package, removing it is
straightforward.

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca
