I started looking into Bluetooth under FSO on the Freerunner, and saw that
the distro uses the bluetooth stack version Bluez-3.32 or 3.33 or something
like that.

What is the reason for not migrating to a more recent version of Bluez? The
latest version is 4.25.

If I start working on Bluetooth, I'd rather work on the latest API, with the
most recent support & bug fixes and not have to port my work at a later
time.

What parts of the existing Framework would be affected by a change of the
Bluetooth API?

Happy Hacking,

Erland
