I thought it may be responsible for charging because after doing without openmoko-panel-applet (because it took over the aux function) my battery has been discharging and it didn't seem to want to charge properly.
However, as openmoko-panel-applet can't be responsible for it, it must be some other thing I changed. Sorry for the fuzz, if it is not opp, then there must be some other kind of thing going on here.
