sure! I hope I'll remember my steps.
I did not follow the automatic setup to preserve SHR and hackable:1 on
mmcblk0p1 and mmcblk0p2.
I booted in SHR, formatted mmcblk0p3 with ext2, created /mnt/debian
and mounted p3 on it.
After I opkg installed tar, downloaded the install.sh script and
launched subtasks from debian to cleanup.
When encountered the internal error on the first I put the missing
package in /mnt/debian/var/cache/xxx, now I do not remember exactly
but the other thread on the list explains precisely it, and run again
install.sh on the failed task, all went fine.
Finally I setupped the qi link in /mnt/debian/boot for the kernel and
created an append-GTA02 with rootfstype=ext2 console=tty1 loglevel=4.
After that I created noboot-GTA02 in /boot of SHR and hackable:1 and
rebooted in debian, got the nodm problem, remembering something about
number of tty in 2.6.28 I installed the 2.6.29 kernel and, going to
change the qi link I just found that the new kernel was installed in
the SHR partition :D, so I removed it, umounted mmcblk0p1, removed the
/boot definition in /etc/fstab, and reinstalled the package, corrected
the link and rebooted.
Got again the nodm problem, installed glamo driver, changed
/etc/X11/xorg.conf, digged a bit, and solved with your help ;)

Hoping it helps.

    Nicola
