I confirm this too... it's been like this for a few weeks and now I
finally decided to do the work-around and it seems to work :)

This one thing makes the installation significantly more annoying then
it was when I did it months ago... but I guess that's what happens when
you go from no-intervention to some-workarounds... it's all in the
contrast!
