You're talking about manifest loading here, not profile application, which
William was asking about.
And generally, missing dependencies don't cause any errors in the logfile.
Missing dependencies are an expected, and common part of the system,
especially with optional dependencies. This bug shouldn't be due to a
missing dependency, and I have a hunch what it is, though don't have time
to investigate and confirm right now.
