Hello all, I have realy hard time with the Slave / Master configuration. First question to you have to start the master first then the slave ? Or the slave first and then the master ? Second question I have a warning about secret key not be the good one evry time I start the slave. "WARNING: Data from supHQ was signed with > Vanfzzz6rqJXCOhFjNuVNQ which does not match our expectation" I have set the key in /usr/local/smokeping/etc/smokeping_secret as "supHQ:0123456789" on the master. I did the same on the slave. Of course my slave hostname is "supHQ" (using the hostname command). Is it the right way to proceed ? Third question When I start the slave it is complaining about finding not target defined the the slave in the master configuration. Here is a part of my config file : "+ Curl binary = /usr/bin/curl follow_redirects = yes include_redirects = yes timeout = 15 *** Slaves *** secrets=/usr/local/smokeping/etc/smokeping_secrets + supHQ display_name=Pse_High location=Bulle High color = 00ff00 *** Targets *** probe = FPing menu = Top ...... +++++ Tcis menu = Tcis Server title = TCIS Server host = tcis.xxx.yyyyy url = ""> slaves = supHQ" Also I have an error message : ... ligne xxx slaves = slave1 [slave2] !!! Why can't I use the name of the slave ? Thanks you for an answer because configuartion example I found are not "crystal clear". Stephen D. |
