Hi, as there is a number of forums discussing how to send USSD commands to Huawei modems (successfully) and at the same time Huawei support team responded that none firmware supported USSD commands, and there is USSD application running under MAC OS for sending USSD commands to Huawei modems, please let me know how to get account info for my pre-paid sim card and Huawei E160 modem (it looks E169, E220 is the like for USSD problem).
My telecom operator advised me to insert sim card into 3G/umts phone to check. Ok. I don't want to disconnect my Linux machine and remove sim card as moving it out and in can damage it in metal housing being really sharp. Are you aware of any workabout for MS Vista and Linux ? Problem with Vista is no more Hyperterminal for testing of AT commands.
