Linux shows our 6 modems ttyACM0-5 just fine in all hardware profiles, but the SMS Lib has never been able to communicate with the modems in their ttyACM0 configuration no matter what we do (in their ttyS0 configuration they are able to work). Does SMS Lib not work with ttyASM modems? Where can we go to get more detailed information on getting the RxTx-Java installation to communicate with the modems? Are we better off using Windows with multiple USB CDC-ACM Modems connected via USB ports? We are using Wavecom Fastrak Supreme and Go modems.
If you have any ideas, please email me a reply. Need some urgent assistance please. Thank you, Garret [email protected] PS- we have configured the port # in the SMS table to point to the / dev/ttyACM0 device it only seems to accept /dev/ttyS0 type device addressing, is this true? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SMSLib for Java User Group" group.
