The modems we are using are hardware version CD25TCPU with firmware 11.608.02.00.94 and the file version on the Windows driver is 2.0.3.819.
I have looked at the logs and don't see anything suspicious. Everything is running fine and then some AT command that shouldn't fail causes a timeout. Usually SMSLib throws a timeout exception and then restarts itself and it works ok after that. It often happens when there are no messages being sent at all - like in the middle of the night. This despite the fact that we do have times of day when we are sending messages for 30-45 minutes straight usually without problems. It is running on a Dell server that should have plenty of power to the ports although I can't say I have tested it and I made sure that the power management doesn't put the ports to sleep.
