Hi - Can someone advise on a modem to use in India with SMSLib? I am asking because many modems are not available here.
I have tried Huawei E620, getting device not found error. I have tried Huawei E1550, modem is locked so struggling with that issue. But also saw device not found, not sure whether that occurs independently of locking. I have enquired about Nokia devices on the compatibility list, dealer says they are not available (obsolete), has suggested 'newer versions which are similar' but I don't want to buy 1 at a time and test. 1. Just want to get some device to work with SendMessage or SMSServer. (Note, I was able to send with CommTest edited to use SMS AT commands, but not with SendMessage). 2. Having gotten through 1, I want to choose the right modem for production high volume use, strictly sending SMS messages to individual phones as acknowledgements of mobile transactions.
