I'm running Ubuntu 32-bit, rxtx-2.1-7 on two systems.
Across two modems and sim cards, I keep getting a message like this

The text hardly varies except for the final character. The timestamp does
not vary at all. SmsGateway.deleteMessage() returns true, but I keep
getting this message. Sending messages works fine. Does anyone have any
idea what this is/how to fix it? The code I was running worked fine before,
so perhaps this has to do with a kernel upgrade or something...

I get the messages with Service.getInstance().readMessages(msgList,
MessageClasses.ALL, gateway);
