Hi,

The first 4 statuses are derived from the attempt to send a message. So
(F)ailed means that the message could not be sent. For example, you have no
credit on your account or you've tried to sent an SMS to a very wrong
destination - which is immediately rejected by the operator.

The last 3 statuses are derived from the delivery reports (if enabled!).
(A)borted means that the message never arrived. The happens, for example,
when the recipient is out of network coverage for a prolonged period.
SMSLib sends out SMS with a default time-to-leave of 48 hours.

Hope this clears things.
