The scholarship is quite competitive and demands a high score of english skill (minimum total IELTS score 6.5 and no sub-score below 6). But it is worth trying as the scholarship offers good benefits. A bit different with AusAid scholarship, the application for NZDS should be made through university(ies) . So, we must be unconditionally accepted in uni before the uni forwards our application to NZAID to be considered. Just check out the link, take IELTS test immediately, and fill up your application forms (both for uni and for NZAID) plus provide all required documents in english. I would love to assist if you ever need any assistance in filling the form. FYI; Nias and Aceh are considered to be priority regions beside east part of Indonesia, so don't worry if you come from Java or Sumatera, just mention your experiences in Aceh and Nias CLEARLY.
