Andrew, I've not tried it myself but place the 2450 plug-in into the >Plug-Ins >Import/Export folder. Alternatively, as Steve said, use Image Capture.

I've just bought Photoshop Elements - and find I can't import pictures from my Epson perfection 2450 scanner. It works just fine in Photoshop 6 using the twain interface, but elements just won't accept this - says twain is not recognised by Photoshop. Has anyone any suggestions for how to proceed? The reason I've bought elements is that my macbook, running OS 10.5 can't use Photoshop 6 and as soon as I upgrade the OS on my intel iMac I won't be able to use Photoshop 6 on that either. I had assumed that getting photos from the scanner would have been as straightforward in Elements as it was in Photoshop 6. What do I do??!!
