Hi Linda Version 7 will work but it won't be stable, the combination of OS 10.5 with an intel chip will support older programs such as Photoshop CS1 but Photoshop 7 (while OS X native) might just be too old. You could try PixelMator, it's got almost the same functionality as Photoshop and costs a tenth of it.
