My ancient iMac has 2 external hard drives connected to it and normally I can mount them on the desktop of my MacBook by going to finder/shared/iMac and connecting to the disc(s) I want. Suddenly I can only log in as a Guest with access to the public folder. If I try to connect as a registered used I get asked for a password. I have put in all 3 possible passwords. It could only be one of these three. Can anyone tell me how I reset the password (I've tried changing the login password)? Also can someone give me some idea of why I can suddenly only login as a guest? Thanks and happy holidays. Philippe
