Air Sharing does pretty much the same thing for exactly the same price, but without being so ... well, red! No password protection in the former though, but I passcode protect my iPod anyway so that doesn't really worry me.
There's another thing called Documents 2 which seems similar + a bit more. Reviews make it sound a bit buggy though. One of the things I find incredibly handy with AirSharing is that when I'm going somewhere unfamiliar I look it up on an online map beforehand, zoom to an appropriate scale, Grab it and then save it to my iPod. Voila, a handy map for when you're trying to get to your destination. iPhone users don't need to waste their time with such stuff though probably with online map access everywhere ...
