I use a Fujitsu Scansnap

Look here: <http://tinyurl.com/ludwq7>

Meets your needs of 50 sheet feeder, one pass duplex scanning (it auto
detects if there is something to scan on the reverse side).

It does auto colour.

I keep it beside my desk as I often need to scan in double sided
certificates and email them - from the scanner being off it takes around 10
seconds to get the doc scanned, into my Scan Folder ready to email.

It has a small footprint - about same a a desktop fax machine. It mentions
scanning A3 - this involves folding the A3 in half!

The package includes a bundled version of Acrobat Pro 8 (Maybe ver 9 by
now).

It scans photos too.

I also use it with DevonThinkPro to archive on a Drobo.

Hope this helps,

Paul Owen
