Hello again After successfully replacing the hard drive in my PPC iMac G5 the drive still cannot be located by the OS when attempting to start-up from a Tiger install DVD.
The machine seems happy and powers up OK with grey Apple logo before boot disc kicks in and asks where to install the system software but there is nowhere for the software to go as no hard drive appears in the options panel. Any one have any ideas what may be at fault?
