It's years since I used this, even though it was nice. I think you can export the file. You will need to find an export command (or possibly a save as command with a format window in it) and chose what format to save in. To do this, you need to find out what format your new mail program will import. CSV is common.
Since your software is so old, it's unlikely to be able to export into the format of a current bit of software. Hope this will help.
