iPhoto, how I hate thee....let me count the ways.... 1. In iPhoto, right click on the thumbnail and choose Show File 2. when star appears in the Finder, double click on it to open it in Preview. 3. Open the Tools menu and choose Adjust Size 4. Use dialogue to create new size (might be easier to guess this using the percentage setting) 5. Click OK to close dialogue 6. Open File menu and choose Save As - give smaller star a new name and save it where you can find it easily again.
