Hi,

My wife has to do a presentation which incorporates showing a video clip
downloaded form an educational website. The clip downloads as a 57MB .flv file,
however when she clicks on it to play it, a blank white window appears entitled
Macintosh HD:Library:Documentation:Help:Hewlett-Packard:shrd:flashplayer - but
no sign of any video.

My wife has a Macbook Pro running 10.5.8. I've looked in Applications>Utilities
and I find Adobe Flash Player Install Manager but no Flash Player as such. A
search shows a Flash Player.plugin but if I click on that, a box tells me that
'There is no default application specified to open Flash player.plugin. All
this
after having uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Flash Player apparently
successfully.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks,
Richard
