Hi, We've got an elderly fella (70yrs and fit as a fiddle) from Finland staying at our guesthouse. He's never really used a computer. He's got the Apple buzz, mainly from me showing him pics, playing tunes and all the rest.
Thing is I don't know what to recommend. I love the iPad and he travels a lot. I'm just wondering if he could get away with it being his only computer. There's no reason why not is there? He has a pretty basic camera, is there a way to get the pics onto his iPad? Thats the only thing I can think of that maybe an issue. Any suggestions. I get the feeling money isn't a barrier so I would say either iPad 2 (ease of use, light, good for travel) or the macbook air, same same but different and probably more flexible for him.
