Now don't be a killjoy!

Seriously though, I use the iMac (2.16GHz 3GB RAM) almost exclusively for
making
music with LogicPro and occasionally play-back will stop and the dialogue box
says 'System Overload - audio engine cannot process required data in time'. I'm
assuming a faster quad core with more RAM will give me the processing power to
not only prevent this overloading but also give me room to have more going on
musically and to use more plug-ins etc.
Of course, I also fancy a 27'' display!

Regards

Richard

Best to leave no less than 10% free space but I wouldn't be comfortable using a
drive that's got less than 30GB free.

Much cheaper to upgrade your hard drive than get a new Mac!
