Hi Adam The old MobileMe calendar sync (pre-CalDAV) worked in the background so whenever you opened iCal on the iPhone it would be in sync. Now we're on CalDAV, iCal only syncs when open. Did you open iCal on your iPhone and wait until the loading icon stopped whirling round? I've always noticed a delay updating the info on the iPhone or Mac but never a delay in the appointment being available to sync.
