I have a MacBook pro with lion, it's just over a year old. In the last 24 hours it's come to a virtual standstill. Everything takes 5 minutes to complete, never seen anything like it since I was on windows 10 years ago.
Activity monitor shows nothing over 15% and only briefly. With all programs closed its the same experience. Events that have happened that could have affected it: - I turned on home sharing, turned off again and no difference - I watched some football using tunnel bear for my uk ip and myp2p. Net, Tunnel bear has a good rep but I've been using for a wk. it's on only rarely when I need to watch something on uk tv. - I have a time capsule that was installed 2 weeks ago - I've deleted and moved lots to make 25gbs spare space on the hard drive of the laptop. It's the most free space it's had in months but still no diff. I'm at a loss. I've also done a disk repair earlier and have it chugging away at the moment. Any help most appreciated...
