Do you mean the 30% or the £118? All books need a ISBN number and the cost is 
nothing to do with Apple. 
I think the 30% is reasonable, it is the same for the Apps.

Apple are advertising and promoting your product and many App designers have 
created a profitable business .  

Apple got blamed last week for putting up the cost of Whitney Houston 
recordings on iTunes, but it was Sony who increased the price.
