Might be worth trying a System Restart
And check that Bluetooth is active (or try switching off and back on again)

I use a Logitech wireless mouse which has a "connect" button on the dongle for recognition. Does the magic mouse have a similar button or a setting in the System preferences?

All,

I just changed the batteries in my Bluetooth Magic Mouse and now it won't connect (yes, I have fitted the new batteries correctly). Any ideas anybody?
