Hi All I have an old (Late 2006) 2ghz 17 inch iMac with 2x 512mb ram installed. I want to add more ram. From what I have read the limit that it will recognise is 3gb.
My question is, would it be better to buy either: a) 1x 1gb stick and 1x 2gb stick. or b) a pair of 2gb sticks.
