Thanks. She is a keen runner and installed Garmin software to upload stats but 
since she changed her Garmin watch it won't recognise the new one.

I know it sounds extreme to start over with a clean install but we have tried 
everything else believe me and are only considering this method as she really 
only uses the laptop for surfing, email....
