This is an interesting thread - If you live in rural Sussex I believe that there is some sort of "super fast broadband" installation on the way according to an East Sussex publication. I too am saving up for a backup solution. I have used Time Capsule for several years now. It's never been very efficient ( but that's probably because it is a small first edition model with only 500 memory. I' m currently looking at the WD "MyBook" hair drive range.
