Howdy, I'm becoming increasingly irked by the thought that the Americans (and British) can just troll my goings on online. I know they says it's for the common good but it's polite to ask first imho... also a bit peeved with the American software giants taking the michael and sharing their data willingly so not keen on giving them all of my business anymore... anyway not debating that just thought i would look into using alternatives to Google and such.
I've found this site http://prism-break.org/ and was wondering if anyone had any experience with using any of the software they mention before I waste my time trying different software out, in particular: - Any of the instant messengers/ vid conf and VOIP's - Anyone using GPG Mail? - Browsers Anyone recommend anything? I've now installed https://duckduckgo.com as my search engine of choice now and I'm very pleasantly surprised with it's usability and results. Only the second day of use but I hammer search and so far it's coming up with the goods. The Chrome extension works well too although I'm thinking of changing Chrome to one of the browsers they mention.
