Morning SMUGs Well, so far, I really like iOS7. It's so much less fussy and inconsistent than 6. More Star Trek, less Early Learning Centre.
Two things (so far) that I'm missing though: i) When composing an SMS, in iOS6 I was able, by touching the edit button, to scroll up and re-read the previous message in the thread (i.e the one being replied to). It was a useful feature 'cause I have the memory of a.......you know, orange coloured swimming thing, and being able to refer back was a great help. Anyway, the facility seems to have gone and now there's no way of reading the previous SMS once you're a few lines into the reply. Anybody else noticed this and found a workaround? ii) I was horrified when my 6.30 iPhone alarm went off this morning to find that there appears to be no snooze button! I could of course have just missed it in my blurry, half-comotose state, but I fear it could the case that, as the entire concept of a snooze has no place in Jonny Ive's deeply logical, disciplined and ordered world, he's seen fit to delete the function. Please, please no! Anybody?
