Since I woke my MBA (8/2011) running Mavericks swiping on the trackpad between desktops no longer works. It just selects whatever the cursor moves over as a result of my swipe so the only way to change desktops is to use a hot corner. Irritating and also the pinch etc for zooming in and out on a webpage has become temperamental. Probably one of those glitches which others will have and Apple will address. Nick
