HI All

I totally agree this is about creating across platform applications. The pain
is bearable provided the period is a relatively short development cycle. Users
who used the application for more substantial work will moan but my guess is
Apple will shrug this off and continue to develop the cross platform system
they so desire, this will ultimately cut development costs for Apple and as a
business model I guess (I’m no expert) its future proofing and streamlining
their software development.

I am not saying its a good move but as pointed out IWork 09 is still there, so
I guess they anticipated this sort of reaction and will undoubtably at some
point start the process of adding back in the lost functionality but this time
making the application available for all OSX /IOS

I wonder what the new merged OSX / IOS will be called …SOXI???? ;-)
