If you haven't spotted it there's a 7.0.3 update. One of the changes is an accessibility setting that turns off some of the motion effects when changing app and navigating around the menus. Apparently this has been done due to complaints about the effects affecting certain people, and its now been adjusted again in this version of iOS.
They didn't affect me but I did find them a bit annoying after the first few days. I've now switched them off on my iPhone 4 and the phone is now MUCH more responsive now its doing simple crossfades. Might be worth smuggers considering if they're not running an iPhone 5 and finding the phone slower than it was. There's also a setting to make text bold if you're finding the new text too light on your devices. I don't think its new but I spotted this while switching off the motion effects.
