About every few years I have a sudden compulsion to make a little movie (of the "Home" variety - strictly amateurish and for the family only). I think that I have just successfully emailed a short film to my son in Japan. I'll find out tomorrow. The version of iMovie that I use is an old one - iMovie '08, 7.1.4 (585) My question is, would it be to my advantage to update this, or would it mess up all my old movies and projects as at least one previous update did? I seem to be able to export films from my old iMac (from iMovie '08) to the latest version of iMovie on my iPad. So, maybe an update is unnecessary?
