As a last resort, you could try deleting then recreating the WiFi port via 
System Preferences>Network.

Select the WiFi port then click the - (minus) button below the list.

Close System Preferences then re-open System Preferences>Network and click 
the + (plus) button, select WiFi from the 'Interface' drop-down and click 
'Create.' Click 'Apply' on the main Network panel and see if that helps.
