Glad to help. I'd keep the old version as it can do mail merge, supports linked text boxes and many more things that the latest Pages still cannot - you may need that sometime. So far, I enjoy using the new version of Pages a lot and having it on my iPad too is brilliant. However, I've not tried tackling the kind of jobs I previously did so it's not been pushed very hard yet and I do miss the linked text boxes though ... :-(
Don't forget that if you select a Pages document, choose File > Get Info then you can the "Open With" entry to always use the new version of Pages which will tell it to use that when you double-click or just use Open.
