I thought someone(!) may be interested to know that I’ve decided to pop all my photos into the IPL. I had over 10,000 but by some culling got that down to around 9,330 items (including 102 videos I think, mostly quite short).
The upload has so far been running around 20 hours per day (I’ve paused it when we want to watch something on iPlayer or download something else) it’s taken about a week so far and still tells me it has another 4,787 items to go!! I never believed it was possible for an upload to take so long, but all evidence seems to indicate that it is actually doing it. Amazing.
