Thanks Sam - deleting and re-installing BBC News did the trick - I wonder how /
why such a huge backlog of data built up?

Thanks Sam,Yes I've looked at this. The most surprising offender seems to be
the BBC News App (18.1 GB!!!) I've no idea what's going on there and can't seem
to find a control to slim it down... I've unticked its permission to download
articles periodically but no change yet.In Settings /General/ Manage storage it
tells me that I've used 52.5GB and have 3.0 GB left. When synced with the iMac
it tells me I have 1.12GB free and that 28.66 is used by Docs and Data.

Hi everyoneCan anyone save me time by telling me how to find the 26GB of
"documents and data" that seems to be blocking up my iPad? I've synced it with
my iMac, scrutinised the lists of Apps, books on Kindle and iBooks but can't
find all this memory hungry stuff...
