Sounds like a cleverly crafted website, I'd force quit safari or close the tab 
and browse to another site.

many many times before: WordReference.com This site has begun to put out 
messages telling the user that they are "heavy users" and inviting them to 
become “supporters”. I haven’t done this. Maybe there is some connection with 
this new and alarming message?
